(Daughter of Leonard Tallis)

Born: June 6th 1937

Joan Tallis earned a BS degree in Music Education from the

State University of New York at Fredonia in 1957, taught

elementary school music in Brockport, NY from 1957 to 1961,

then attended Syracuse University where she graduated with a

MS degree in Higher Education in 1963. She worked in Student

Affairs at the University of South Florida specializing in student

housing for 34 years retiring in 1997.
